For nearly 20 years, we built something worth being proud of. Under the West Texas IT Services name, David and Dawson Jones earned the trust of businesses and families across the Texas Panhandle and North Texas — one solved problem at a time, one real relationship at a time.
We were never just a vendor. We were your people. That hasn't changed. Not one bit.
What changed is our reach. The work we do today extends far beyond West Texas — remote clients, businesses across the country, challenges that don't care about geography. The name West Texas IT Services told half the story. White Shark Technology tells the whole one.
This is not an acquisition. Nobody bought us. No outside company is involved. White Shark Technology LLC is our legal name — owned by the same family, run by the same team, driven by the same mission we've always had.
Same David. Same Dawson. Same commitment to fixing it together. We're proud of where we came from. And we're ready for where we're going.

Our Story, By the Numbers

2008 — West Texas IT Services opens its doors in Amarillo, Texas, serving the 26 counties of the Texas Panhandle. That same year, David competes in IBM's Master the Mainframe Contest — one of 1,876 students from 325 schools across the U.S. and Canada — and places 3rd overall. The love of solving hard problems was already there.

2009 — The business outgrows its starting point. David moves the office to Muenster, Texas, setting up in Suite 210 at the Old Theater Mall — where White Shark Technology still operates today.

2010 — David earns his BS in Computer Science from West Texas A&M University, bringing formal credentials to what was already a thriving practice built on instinct, hard work, and a genuine love of the craft.

2011 — The business formalizes into White Shark Technology LLC, restructuring from a sole proprietorship into a structure built for growth. Same mission, stronger foundation.

2020 — Dawson joins the team as an experienced Technology Specialist.

2021 — Dawson's focus on business growth into the future to keep up with the ever changing digital landscape adds new services to our toolbox.

2026 — Our name is changed to reflect our vision of growth.

The name reflects where we're headed. A white shark doesn't stay in one place — it moves, it adapts, and it goes wherever the work takes it. That's who we are now: a technology partner with no geographic ceiling, backed by nearly two decades of hands-on experience serving real businesses and real people.
